On 23-26 May, 2017 the IX International Conference of young scientists «Welding and Related Technologies» will be held by the Young Scientists Council of the PWI with the support of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Scientific Center of Polish Academy of Sciences in Kyiv and The E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute.
We invite young researchers up to 35 years old to participate in the Conference. Participation of students, Ph.D. students, young researchers, representatives of industrial enterprises and scientific organizations as guests of scientific schools without presentations with receiving of personal certificate of participation in the scientific schools in the relevant areas is also appreciated.
The Conference will be held as plenary sessions and posters. Plenary presentation is limited to 15 minutes. For poster presentation prepare a short introduction presentation up to 3 minutes (3-4 slides).

- Advanced welding and joining technologies
- Strength, reliability and durability of welded structures
- Surfacing, coating and surface treatment technologies
- Processes and technologies of metallurgy
- New structural and functional materials
- Technical diagnostics and nondestructive testing
- Automation of processes of welding and related technologies
- Mathematical modeling
- Nanotechnologies in welding and related processes
- Additive manufacturing technologies
INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Topics of the scientific schools will be in compliance with the framework of the Conference.
The following events are planned as a part of the scientific schools:
• Lectures by the leading Ukrainian and foreign scientists;
• Plenary session;
• Posters presentations;
• Awards for the best oral and poster presentations;
• Visit to laboratories and research centers of PWI;
Tours around Kyiv will be organized.
Accommodation and transport are paid by participants themselves.
