In this bachelor's project, a soft gripper for a robotic manipulator was designed to grasp and manipulate objects of various shapes and those that are easily deformable.
The first chapter is dedicated to analyzing and classifying modern robotic manipulators. It thoroughly examines different types of manipulators, their capabilities, and application areas. The technical characteristics and design features are highlighted, allowing conclusions to be drawn about their advantages and disadvantages.
The second chapter analyzes the types of soft grippers for robotic manipulators. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of existing gripper models are discussed. A comparison between soft grippers and traditional ones is conducted, particularly regarding their ability to adapt to shapes, safety for fragile objects, and effectiveness in various conditions of use.

In this bachelor's project, an automated multichannel ultrasonic thickness gauge was designed, which can be used on an industrial scale to measure the thickness of metal sheets or flat structural elements simultaneously at several points. The first chapter focuses on the physical principles of ultrasound and discusses piezoelectric transducers, hardware implementation of ultrasonic thickness gauges, analysis of ultrasonic thickness measurement methods, and specifically, methods for measuring the propagation time of ultrasound in the object under control.
The second chapter is dedicated to the justification and calculation of the acoustic path through which the ultrasound will propagate during thickness measurement. The electroacoustic path coefficient, electrical capacitance, and the development of an amplitude-phase method for detecting bottom echoes with increased noise immunity were calculated.

For the diploma project, it was decided to develop an automated plant growth control system. Based on the literature, we analyzed the necessary conditions for optimal plant growth and considered the problems that may arise during plant development at different stages, investigated the physical foundations of hygrometry and photometry.
The components for the implementation of an effective automated growth control system are considered and selected, a comparison between the components is made, and the necessary processes that should take place in the system are structured. An optical scheme aimed at the most effective result was developed. The system collects data on humidity and activates the irrigation function if necessary, and also illuminates plants with appropriate types of light for optimal plant development.

The aim of the thesis is to research smart home systems, voice control and create a simple demonstration model of voice control.
In the first chapter of this thesis, the concept of the Internet of Things and a smart home was considered, the types of smart homes, their advantages and disadvantages were considered. Different wireless protocols used in smart homes, their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed. Some examples of the use of smart technologies in the housing sector are also considered.
The second chapter is devoted to the history of the development of voice control and voice recognition systems. The operation of these systems was investigated, advantages and disadvantages were analyzed, and some examples of the use of similar systems were considered.

This work is devoted to the development of software, namely a neural network module, for recognising faces, emotions and communicating with people, as well as for the further creation of a robotic system (service robot) based on the use of the Raspberry Pi board. This software is based on the Python programming language and the use of such libraries as OpenCV, DeepFace for video stream processing and emotion recognition, and the gTTS library for text-to-speech. Analysing the functionality of this software, it can be assumed that this module, with some improvements, can be used for more complex service robots that will greatly simplify people's lives in the future. The total number of pages is 64, the number of illustrations in the work is 10, together with posters - 15, and there is additionally a presentation.
