Yuriy Kyrychuk is the head of the Department of Automation and Non-Destructive Testing Systems (ANDTS) at the university, holding a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences and the position of associate professor. He has been working at the university since 1995 and has been leading the ANDTS department since July 1, 2021.
In 1999, he defended his candidate dissertation, and in 2016, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic of "Automated Instrumentation and Information-Measuring System."
His scientific interests include modern systems for shock and vibration protection of navigation complexes for moving objects, robotic systems, bio-inspired robotics, and the Internet of Things.
Scientific, organizational, and public activities include:
- Secretary of the specialized council for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations;
- Deputy dean of the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering for international cooperation;
- Responsible executor of research projects for the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the most relevant mainstream problems in science and technology.
He has authored more than 200 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 1 textbook, and 1 educational guide with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as 2 guides approved by the Scientific Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
