The projects-finalists competition of the Festival is one of the most important annual events in the field of innovation in Ukraine. Lead specialists pre-selected all submitted projects and identified projects that have the potential of startups to invest and enter into cooperation agreements with teams. This year, two projects from the Department of Devices and Systems of Non-Destructive Testing were identified as a potential finalist project of the Sikorsky Challenge Festival 2020 according to the results of selection of the most attractive projects from students and faculty of the university.

The International Jury will evaluate the video presentations of the finalists from November 3 to 13. In this year's, for the first time, competition performances, evaluation, and determination of winners will take place in asynchronous online mode in an online format.
During the review of each project, members of the International Jury will have the opportunity to ask questions, evaluate projects, and select winners in the nominations:
- The best project idea
- The best technological solution
- The best solution to the problems of potential customers
- The best business model
Based on the results of the online evaluation of the finalist projects, the most promising startups for investment will be identified. The best projects will be assisted in commercialization, the creation of successful startups, and the introduction of innovative products to national and international markets.
