The diploma project consists of an introduction, four main chapters, conclusions, and a list of references. It includes 68 pages of main text, 29 illustrations, and 21 references to the literature used.
The aim of this work is the design and development of an automated lighting control system capable of ensuring optimal energy efficiency, adaptive operation, and safe control of lighting devices or the overall lighting system.

To complete the diploma project, the following tasks were formulated:
- providing a description of the general principles of automation in control systems according to the theory of automatic control;
- reviewing and describing relevant regulations regarding optimal illumination levels in accordance with officially recognized standards;
- developing the system concept and describing its functional capabilities. Designing the structural and schematic diagrams of the automated lighting control system;
- selecting the main components of the system, including the electronic computing system, sensors, and other parts;
- designing the electrical schematic of the complete system based on the structure and selected components;
- addressing the development of software, considering the specifics of embedded systems. Developing the program workflow algorithm and constructing its block diagram;
- providing general conclusions of the work performed.
