Yaryhin V. Noise meter

This diploma project consists of 63 pages, 23 illustrations, 30 formulas, 21 literary sources. Key words: ultrasonic control, noise meter

In the diploma project, the study of the principles of operation of various  types of devices for measuring noise. Structural and functional diagrams are made. A schematic diagram and printed circuit board based on shredders were developed. On the basis of the performed calculations an experimental installation was developed.
As a result of the study, a type of instrument was used to measure noise, or rather a noise meter.

Miliutin V. Ferromagnetic materials tester

This diploma project consists of 56 pages, 24 illustrations, 5 formulas, 12 literary sources. Key words: eddy current control, parametric converter, digital signal processing, method of higher harmonics

In the diploma project the research of different methods of control of ferromagnetic materials was conducted. Structural and functional diagrams are made. Based on the drawings, a schematic diagram and printed circuit board were also developed. On the basis of the performed calculations, an experimental installation in the «Comsol Multiphysics» software was developed. As a result of the study, the method of higher harmonics was selected and an experimental setup was prepared for further research and development of the device.

Vakuliuk A. Electrostatic field measuring device

The diploma project consists of 58 pages, 29 illustrations, 41 formulas, 34 literary sources. Key words: electrostatics, electrostatic field, electrostatic field measurements, fluxometer, rotary method, dynamic method, electric field, static method.

During the diploma project, existing methods and instruments for measuring the electrostatic field were analyzed. It was calculated time for which different methods measure the electrostatic field, and highlighted the difference between those methods. A device was also designed on the basis of dynamic (rotational) method with improvements in its parameters, namely size, battery work, and the addition of an element for digital data transfer to remote PCs for further processing. A chip was also created and the items for it were selected. Conclusions regarding the expediency of measuring the electrostatic field in different fields are made.

Prykhodko M. Eddy current flaw detector based on frequency synthesizers

This diploma project consists of 65 pages, 29 illustrations, 19 formulas, 10 literary sources.  Keywords: eddy current control, eddy current converter, digital signal processing, DDS frequency synthesizer

In the diploma project, various methods of eddy current control of ferromagnetic materials were studied.  As a result of the study, the structural and functional schemes of the defectoscope were developed, the basis of which is the measurement of DDS frequency synthesizers. For a more detailed study of the principle of the work, the model of a typical synthesizer in LabView was developed and investigated in order to maximally approximate the real algorithm of work.

Lahutin Y. Thickness gauge

The task of bachelor project is to design a device for measuring thickness by ultrasonic method. The object of control is the ship's hull. At the beginning of the baccalaureate work theoretical materials with the basic information about methods, goals and tasks of ultrasonic thickness measurement and areas of its application were outlined.
The main part of the work is the calculation of the ultrasonic path of the converter and additional parameters necessary for the design of the device.

The results of the calculation made it possible to determine the structure of the circuit and the design of the converter, as well as to select the necessary elements from which the device was then compared. At the final stage of work were carried out calculations and selection of functional nodes of the circuit of electric principle. The results of the work allow us to construct a capable instrument for measuring the thickness, which corresponds to the task.
